Code of Conduct¶
Group 9 commits to a respectful, honest, and inclusive working environment. These standards apply to every member, and to anyone who reviews or comments in this repository.
- Treat every member as a peer. Disagree with ideas, not people.
- Assume good intent and ask before concluding. Written text loses tone.
- Give feedback in pull requests that is specific, kind, and actionable.
- Credit work accurately. Never claim work you did not do; disclose help received, including AI assistance (
ai-use-log.md). - Follow the university academic integrity policy and the course AI-use policy (
TEAM_CHARTER.mdsection 11). - Respect the people behind the datasets: do not attempt to deanonymize author codes, do not contact repository owners about findings, and do not name repositories or accounts in outputs.
- Treat suspected malicious content responsibly: never execute it, stop the analysis of that item, and raise it with the instructor.
- Raise concerns early: first with the person, then with the Scrum Master of the sprint, then with the whole team, then with the instructor.
Violations are handled through the escalation path in TEAM_CHARTER.md section 10.
